​Thank you for your interest in joining the Purdue Dining & Catering team!  We have a variety of full time and part time (student) positions available:

Part time: Student Associate, Retail or Residential

Join a friendly team of students from a variety of majors.  Job tasks may include cashiering, preparing food or beverages, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service.  Specific duties dependent on work location.

Full time: Dining Associate, Residential

Rotate among several food service areas and work independently as needed. Unload and stock various inventory items, wash dishes and cookware, cook food, bus tables, and serve food. Set up for special events and maintain a clean organized work environment.

Full Time: Dining Team Leader, Retail

Ensure all retail operations including customer service, food standards, and cleanliness run proficiently. Assist supervisor in store operations including financial, hiring, training, ordering, stocking and merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and assist in caterings as needed. Strengthen communication skills by interacting with customers, employees, and supervisors.

Full time: Dining Team Leader, Residential

Assist administrative supervisors in the continuous training of employees and monitor food costs, portion control, and station presentation. Maintain service and product standards on a consistent basis. Make recommendations on improvements in operational performance. Wash dishes, prepare food, serve food, set up dining rooms, order food and supplies from storeroom.  Maintain effective communication with customers, employees, and supervisors.

Full time: Production Coordinator, Residential or Culinary

Serve as a working supervisor for the dining court in both front and back of the house. Help determine the daily work load, make daily job assignments, and oversee the work of all cooks and kitchen personnel. Evaluate finished products to ensure quality and address sub-quality production and presentation. Implement solutions in collaboration with the production chef.
