Sarah Johnson Outstanding Student Employee of Year
The Sarah Johnson Outstanding Student Employee of the Year Award Fund was established to recognize the many contributions of Sarah Johnson, former director of Residential Dining for University Residences. Sarah dedicated over 37 years to students at Purdue University and National Association of Colleges & University Food Services (NACUFS). The Outstanding Student Employee of the Year award is selected on reliability, quality of work, initiative, teamwork and contribution to Purdue Dining & Culinary.

Rachel has been nominated by Sierra Morin for the Sarah Johnson Outstanding Student Employee of Year due to “how committed Rachel is to creating an enjoyable, positive, and productive work environment for her subordinates, peers, and supervisors” at Windsor Dining Court. Sierra also describes Rachel’s dedication to students outside of work from creating events for students and collaborating with other dining operations to share ideas.
